Kristine W. Batten, M.D. F.A.C.C.

Dr. Batten received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. She attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on a US Navy scholarship, followed by residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center Oakland and Cardiology fellowship at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco. After completing a total of 13 years of military service, she and her husband settled in the San Ramon Valley to raise their three daughters.

A non-invasive cardiologist, Dr. Batten has an interest in preventive cardiology and women's heart disease. She is the Medical Director of the JMMDHS Women's Heart Program, and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association of the East Bay.
