Dr. Lee earned his B.S. at MIT and his M.D. at U.C. San Francisco. He completed his cardiology training at the National Institutes of Health and the University of Arizona. He completed his cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at UCSF where he later served on the faculty. A recognized international expert in electrophysiology, Dr. Lee helped pioneer the technique of catheter ablation, and he specializes in the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. In 2006, Dr. Lee was selected to be the American Heart of Gold Award Recipient.
