Dr. Nathan completed his B.S., M.S. and M.D. at Brown University. He received his cardiology training at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. Dr. Nathan also holds an M.P.A. in Health Care Administration from the University of San Francisco. He conducted pioneering research in the use of ACE inhibitors in congestive heart failure and in thrombolytic therapy for acute myocardial infarction, and established the first office-based nuclear cardiology laboratory in Northern California.
